Musicopia – Philadelphia

Harmony Project- LA
Harmony Project is an award-winning research-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization hplogothat targets at-risk youth in underserved areas of Los Angeles. We promote positive youth development through year-round music lessons and ensemble participation.
Our mission is:
To promote the healthy growth and development of children through the study, practice and performance of music.
To build healthier communities by investing in the positive development of children through music.
To develop children as musical ambassadors of peace, hope and understanding amongst people of diverse cultures, backgrounds and beliefs.

Young Shakespeare Workshop – Seattle
Young Shakespeare Workshop gathers students together to create a new community bound by a love of YSLogowords. Because we charge no tuition, we are uniquely positioned to draw together students from all walks of life.  Our only requirement is a passion for language.

Josh and “Toys For Tots” need your help!!!!!! We are only 12 days away from Christmas! There are thousands of kids who will not have a single toy under the tree. Please let those kids believe that someone cares and that the magic of the holiday season hasn’t passed them by.

Help Josh raise funds for arts programs in need across the country – especially programs focusing on underserved communities and schools most vulnerable to losing their arts programs. Community Music Works, Girls Write Now and Epic Theatre Ensemble, are three of the many arts programs who benefited by “The Find Your Light Foundation” last year during Josh’s “Straight To You” Tour.  Remember, every dollar counts to help such great causes!

The auction ends on Sunday, December 9th, with all items ending between 8 PM and 11 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The nonprofit organization works to advance arts and arts education across the country.

Paul G. Allen was recognized with the Philanthropy in the Arts Award. The founder and chairman of Vulcan Inc. has given more than $1.5 billion in his lifetime.

American artist James Rosenquist received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell, Outstanding Contributions to the Arts Award; singer and songwriter Josh Groban, Young Artist Award; and National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts co-founder Lin Arison, Arts Education Award.

The awards will be presented in New York City on Oct. 15 by dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and sculptor Richard Serra.

The award was designed by Jeff Koons.
